About Me:
I live in Tavistock, Devon, and I came from Dundee, where I studied Fine Art BA, to teach Art in East London, then to Nottingham where I also worked as a freelance Social photographer, then Plymouth where as well as teaching A-level Art and Photography, I started a successful Social Photography business. I really enjoyed working with people at weddings and posing the guests, and Bride and Groom, in romantic locations and creating a mood where I could get the best out of people. After 50yrs in photography i began to feel that I’d like to work at the other end of the camera now. Retirement has also given me more time to paint. In my painting I fell in love with the SouthWest, finding endless inspiration in the moors and coast. I’m currently shown in Brownston Gallery in Modbury, and Coombe Gallery in Dartmouth. I’m a member of the South West Academy, and the 21Group with whom I’m involved in approx 6 exhibitions per year. I also play keyboard, and sing traditional Scottish songs at open-mic folk sessions. I greatly enjoy new beginnings and opportunities and am very much looking forward to a new career in modelling.
