About Me:
I am a 46 year old mixed race mother of two grown children and also a health professional. My life has been full of adventure growing up in Africa, living in India for two years and then settling down in the UK. Culture to me carries so much beauty and richness so I embrace it.
I’ve had various professions from managing a small business, working in a day care centre, school, receptionist, and now health care. I love my journey so far and have seen myself grow from a very scared timid girl to a confident able woman.
My interests are movies, music, food and cooking, some sewing, crafts and reading visiting new places, strategy games and walking my dog. I have had to put some of these on hold over the years bringing up my children but it was worth it and now I feel they are grown, it is my time to resume my interests and do something for me. I am really excited to have this opportunity, especially as it was something I wanted to do in my younger years but it was not something that was encouraged in my country at the time.
