About Me:
British actor based in London with Chinese heritage. Experienced in featured roles in commercials and theatre productions. Having recently graduated with a Drama and Film degree, These commitments build upon my experience, learning not only interpersonal skills but also about being a collaborator, facilitator, and director. Alongside acting, I also find interest in directing; as the ability to shape the whole meaning of a scene with simple directions has always been a favourite of mine. Having just finished a devised collaborative piece from Theatre, in which I took upon the role of actor, scriptwriter and director. I found this to be one of the most enjoyable projects so far in my academic life, as the creative space I was given allowed me to expand my knowledge and apply different approaches in a multiplicity of ways.
My aspirations to become an actor originated at a very young age. Upon seeing After Earth(2013), I was motivated by the potential of film and its ability to transform someone’s perception of the world.I wanted to be part of that movement and found my calling in making others feel a part of a different world. I see potential in my ability to work in the industry of Theatre and Film, as I greatly enjoy the process of creating a finished product from one single starting point or stimulus. I intend to be able to create a final visual product that could impact someone else’s life.
