DANCERS

With a troupe of 23 excellent all-round female/female-identifying dancers, we have 18 on-stage tracks plus 5 swings. Rotation of dancers and days off are handled by our Dance Captain.

Dance styles are varied and in 2024 included Parisian Chic, skins work, musical theatre, Irish, and Cancan. Any special skills, such as Irish and Cancan, will be taught during rehearsals—no prior knowledge is required.

All our artistes are versatile and have a positive attitude. They are required to wear full costume and full skins. Once performances begin, there are two shows per day, seven days a week. Due to the frequency of performances, dancers must understand their stamina and pace themselves accordingly. We schedule one day off every 8-10 days.

All cast members live locally for the duration, usually in shared holiday accommodation. Subsistence is included in the fee to cover this. Travel is by car, and those without a vehicle must arrange transport with other cast members. Payment is made in several instalments, each of which must be invoiced.

The job is hugely enjoyable—dancers perform for ecstatically happy capacity audiences (over 1,400 seats) and stay in a beautiful part of the world, less than 15 minutes from the North Norfolk coast.

SINGERS

Our on-stage ensemble cast of 48 singers share solo and chorus duties and are supported by a team of swings.

This large chorus is cast from a variety of backgrounds including classical, musical theatre, and pop. Singers must learn and perform a diverse range of styles, from Choral to Show-tunes, memorizing a lengthy and complex score while learning choreography. Singers will also perform in small ensembles, duets, trios, solos, or in our off-stage sound booth.

During the first half of the show, singers and instrumentalists are positioned throughout the venue, with contact to the Conductor via monitors. In the second half, the show takes a concert format, with the conductor leading the orchestra and the choir positioned in two blocks on either side of the stage.
