About Me:
Hi,
I am an honest, capable, conscientious and outgoing person with excellent communication skills. Relating comfortably with people at all levels. My varied work experience and achievements mean I can adapt easily to new situations – Love a new, exciting challenge and can work happily within a team (with a leading role or as a participant) or on an individual basis.
At present I am a Co-Director of a Community Interest Company based in Bedford – SOS Saturday Outreach Service – where every week we provide hot meals and drinks, clothes, household items etc to rough sleepers and anyone in need of extra help. We regularly get 70 -80 people attending every week.
I enjoy spending quality time with friends, music, dancing, handicrafts, cooking, DIY, fund raising, trying to keep fit (!) – most of all supporting my family with 4 beautiful grandchildren.
Along with all this I have a much needed sense of humour and I believe that everybody should be treated with respect and kindness – after all it is the little things in life that can mean the most and bring happiness and pleasure.
Dance as if no one were watching – and if they are just carry on!
