Hello, my name is Festus Ifiti jr. I’ve been working as a software quality assurance engineer for over 5 years, my job entails looking at the frontend (User facing interactions) and backend (function or system that isn’t accessible by the user) looking for bugs in the system and making sure that the product adheres to requirements.

When I’m not at work I’m usually doing the following:

  • Watching football (I’m a Liverpool supporter). I play 7 a side football twice a week.

  • I do 5 and 10km runs, I also go on competitions like the Tough Mudder, survival of the fittest etc.

  • I play the violin (terribly). I have lessons once a week.

  • Listen to underground conscious hip-hop, classical, jazz, Motown, trip-hop, classical music.

  • I read philosophy books, mainly stoic philosophy like Marcus Aurelius, Lucius Annaeus Seneca, Epictetus.

  • I’m into all things Ancient Greek/Roman/Egyptian, a couple of years ago I researched how Rome became Rome.

  • I enjoy the arts – theatre, concerts or going to the art gallery to see renaissance art, my favourite artist has to be Leonardo da Vinci.

  • Discovering and watching TV box sets. I’ve just finished the new season of Orange is the new Black, Iron Fist, Killing Eve. I can’t wait to get started on Outlander and Daredevil.

  • I love video games. I’m either playing football manager on the PC, Fifa on PlayStation 4 or Zelda on the Nintendo switch.

An essential addition to every outfit is a watch and my African bracelets. I’ve always been fascinated by the different timekeeping innovations in our time. From sundials, hourglass, astronomical to electric, quartz and atomic clocks.

I’m always open to new challenges and experiences, hence why I want to be a model. I also think I have something unique, fun and different to offer to the industry.
